Delusion (Ver 0.0.1)

In May 2024, our team, using our own development resources, completed work on a prototype (technical demonstration) of the Delusion game, thanks to which our partners and potential investors can already evaluate the visual style of the project and basic prototypes of some of the mechanics described in this document .

The Delusion prototype is a full-fledged video game project with its own plot, structure and characters. The main character of the technical demonstration is a young lawyer - Henry Woodmire, who, against his will, became a participant in a series of mysterious events that led him to an unexpected end. The technical demo consists of 4 levels, each of which is dedicated to a particular mechanic and reveals a certain aspect of our future project. 

Briefly about the plot. Private lawyer Henry Woodmire comes to see a client on urgent business and accidentally interferes with a serious secret government project. To maintain confidentiality, FBI agents take the lawyer into custody and confront him with a tough choice. As a result, Henry loses his memory and becomes part of a secret project taking place in a small provincial town.

Currently, after developing the demo version, our team is seeking funding to create a full-fledged version of the project, which will be as follows:

"Delusion" is not just a game, but a full-fledged simulation of life and social interaction in the city. Each object, NPC, and location has its own unique backstory and features. They are all interconnected, constantly creating new cause-and-effect relationships that the player will encounter. Each player's action affects the dynamics of the surrounding world, adding immersion and freedom of action to the gameplay. Initially, the game will hide its true nature from players, presenting the world as much simpler than it actually is. However, as they progress through "Delusion," players will be able to gradually uncover all the secrets and mysteries hidden in its depths, and the game will reward them for thoroughly exploring the game world.
